Early April [April 3-6] saw myself, my mother, and sister traveling to Melbourne for the fashion event, Face Fashion. I have quite a rich history with the city of Melbourne as I always used to travel here with my immediate family when I was younger. However I hadn't visited since I graduated school in 2014. Around four years on I couldn't be more proud of what I have achieved and learnt by commencing and completing a degree in Fashion Design. Exploring and remembering the streets of Melbourne amazed me how much my life has changed in the past 3.5 years. I hadn't even began my Fashion Degree 3.5 years ago nor did I know a percentage of what it takes to design and create fashion pieces that I now know. I was even more proud to come back to the city with an up-and-coming brand and collection to showcase to the fashion individuals of this notorious fashion capital of Australia.

I am very grateful for the opportunity I was given by Face Fashion, especially by the founder Marvin Osifo. I feel honoured to have been recognised for this show and to have my fashion work being recognised nationally. This experience will never be forgotten.

This experience also provides me with even more confidence and faith into my future in the fashion industry as a designer, brand, and individual.
